<> Since the dates and places are usually
unimportant for the flower pictures,
they will be grouped somewhat together by class and/or by their colors.
Closeups, groups, and large fields of flowers will also be separated
into
sections.
The vast majority of the following flowers, especially the roses, were
imaged
outside the Grizzly Cafe and Mountain Hardware, both in
Wrightwood, California.
Many
other areas include the RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach, the California
Poppy Reserve near Lancaster, Death Valley National Park, and the
Angeles
National
Forest, all in California. Other areas include the coast of
Oregon
in
and around Seaside, and wherever flowers were seen in abundance along
the
highways and
byways of America.
None of the following images were taken at nurseries, commercial
flowering
vendors, cemeteries, or aboretums.

Snow Plants are found at higher elevations in the Cascade and Sierra
Nevada
mountains in Oregon and California, and poke through the forest 'floor'
after the
snow melts between April and July.
