The Veil Nebula in the constellation Cygnus as photographed on November 30,
2016 from the Sotol Vista in Big Bend National Park, Texas. Because of its
large size, two photographs are needed to show both the western and eastern
parts, as above. The skies were extremely dark, and these images were taken
with a Canon 60Da with ISO 3200 at f/2.8 for 84 and 110 seconds respectively.
A Canon 400mm f/2.8 telephoto lens was mounted on a Losmandy G-8 mounting
with only the standard sidereal rate employed for these images.
