Latourell Falls in The Columbis River Gorge, as seen from US Highway 30, some 30 miles
east of Portland, Oregon. This is the first of seven major waterfalls along this highway
traveling to the east from Crown Point. Here we see the falls on March 25, 2012 as it
plunges 224 feet down a large wall of columnar basalt, into the Columbia River below.
