The Milky Way at the zenith from NW Oregon at 2764 feet elevation. This image was taken
only moments before the clouds and humidity rolled in from the north on August 19, 2015, and
was a 'preparation' image taken at ISO 12800 for positioning the camera on the Losmandy
tracker. Our intention was to take images of the Milky Way for two hours before heading
back to Seaside for the night. Maybe next menth. In this image, centered on the
constellation Cygnus, Deneb is just right of center, with Vega bottom center, and
Altair slightly below left center in this 8 second exposure at f/4.
