The zodiacal light as seen over Owens (Dry) Lake on December 14, 2013. This image was taken
from the road to Horseshoe Meadows, south of Mount Whitney in the Sierra Nevada mountains of
California. Also note the thin cirrus clouds, the lights of Las Vegas in the lower left, a satellite
trail in the upper right, and two Geminid Meteor trails in the upper and lower left side.
