A weak northern lights display made itself visible from the Northwest Oregon Coast near
Astoria on September 12, 2014. The reddish glow was visible photographically only, during
this 30 second exposure with a wide angle lens, along with the Iridium 68 satellite on the
far right. This image was taken on the South Jetty of the Columbia River entrance.
