The Lagoon (left) and Trifid (right) nebulae as imaged on August 11, 2010 from Grandview Campground
in the White Mountains of California. A Canon 1Ds Mark III DSLR, using a 400mm f/2.8 telephoto
stopped down to f/4 for a seven minute exposure at an ISO setting of 800, created this dramatic view.
