The zodiacal light as seen from the south rim of Grand Ganyon National Park on September 10, 2011.
The image was secured using a super wide-angle lens, and therefore some distortion is seen in the far
upper right, especially of the constellation Orion. This 'light' comes from the reflection of sunlight off
dust particles in the solar system, known as cosmic dust.
