The recovery of the August 2009 'Station Fire' is well underway, as seen in this wildflower landscape
along the Angeles Crest Highway (California State Highway 2) taken June 8, 2011. Despite the burnt
tree branch across this image, Mother Nature has allowed her beauty to show vividly with new growth
from this past winter's extra moisture. The 'Crest' highway is open from La Canada to Wrightwood
once again, so take advantage and go see for yourself. If you can't get away, look here!
