The Antares Nebula (lower right) with red Antares shining through. The globular star cluster M4 is
near the right edge, and a smaller globular, NGC 6144, is just above Antares. The Rho Ophiuchi
dark cloud nebulosity is in the upper center, and extends to the lower left (north in this image).
This image was taken on May 3, 2013 in the White Mountains of central California using a Canon
EOS 1Ds Mark III, with a 400mm f/4 telephoto for a 6 minute exposure. North is to the left.
