is Comet 46P/Wirtanen, as photographed on December 3, 2018
from a dark site along Highway 101 south of Cannon Beach, Oregon.
This was imaged using a Losmandy G-8 tracker, a Canon 1Dx Mark II
camera set at ISO 6400 for 30 seconds at f/2.8, and using a 400mm
Canon telephoto lens.
