This
is the North Celestial Pole (NCP) as imaged from Big Bend
National Park on December 1, 2016. The bright star at the
top is Polaris, the North Star. The arrow points to the
actual location of the NCP, some 3/4 of a degree
from Polaris. This was a 6 minute exposure.
